Janet Marie Burch (Muenkel), age 63, of Buffalo, MN, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, February 6, 2017.

She was born February 3, 1954, the daughter of Donald Gale and Shirley Mae (Frerking) Muenkel.

Janet graduated from Osseo-Fairchild High School in Osseo, WI, and attended college in La Crosse, WI, for interior decorating. She worked with Foam Fabricators in Silver Creek, MN, Boston Scientific in Minneapolis, MN, and most recently with Neometrics Inc. in Plymouth, MN.

She was baptized at Pinehurst Lutheran Church in Eau Claire, WI, and confirmed in her faith at Osseo Evangelical Lutheran Church in Osseo, WI.

Janet was baptized in the Holy Ghost at End Time Gospel in North Minneapolis by Pastor Isaac Moore. She was a faithful servant with Faith Deliverance Holiness Church in North Minneapolis where she served as an usher. She enjoyed decorating, sewing — especially doll clothes — reading, studying, cleaning, and being a dedicated mother to her three daughters: Amanda “Mandy,” Talitha “TT” and Nicole “Nikki.”

She is preceded in death by her father, Donald Muenkel; daughter, Amanda “Mandy” Bush; sister-in-law, Tami Muenkel; and nephew, Scottie Alan Muenkel.

Janet is survived by her daughters, Talitha “TT” Nelson of Minneapolis, MN, Nicole “Nikki” Timms of Minneapolis, MN; 2 grandchildren; mother, Shirley Sauve of Buffalo, MN; step-mother, Eilene Muenkel of Osseo, WI; brothers, Scott Muenkel of Waupaca, WI, Michael Muenkel of Buffalo, MN; and many family and friends.

A memorial service for Janet Burch will be held Tuesday, February 14, 2017 at 1:00 PM, with visitation one hour prior, at The Peterson Chapel, 119 Central Avenue, Buffalo, MN, with Pastor Ora Goodman White and Pastor Isaac Moore officiating. Burial will be at Lakeside Cemetery in Silver Creek, MN.
