
Katherine Hogan Nolan (Kathi), beloved wife, mother, sister and daughter, age 50, of Lancaster, Pa., passed away on February 5, 2010, at the Hospice of Lancaster County from complications of colon cancer. She was born December 1, 1959, in Kansas City, Kan., to Matthew and Dorothy Hogan, brother William Hogan and sister Patricia Mort. She was married January 31, 1988, in San Francisco, Calif., to Frank Nolan. Graduating from Shawnee Mission South High School in 1978, she earned a B.A. from Kansas State University in 1982 and M.B.A. from Rockhurst College. She spent 29 years with same employer, initially called Ford Motor Credit Company, now called CNH Capital, Inc., and lived in Overland Park, Kan., 1959-1979, Suisan City, Calif., 1989- 1999, and Lancaster, Pa., 1999-present. She had amazing stoicism and good spirits during her prolonged illness. She is survived by husband, Frank Nolan, Lancaster, Pa.; son Matthew Nolan, Lancaster, Pa.; father, Matthew Hogan, Cameron, Mo.; brother William Hogan, Sacramento, Calif., and sister Patricia Mort, Smithville, Mo. Services were February 10, 2010, at St. Leo the Great Catholic Church in Lancaster, Pa. An additional service will be held for the family in April at Chapel of the Chimes in Oakland, Calif. May she rest in peace.
