CASTLE ROCK, Colo. -- A40-year-old former Kansas man was acquitted Friday of killing his wife and her parents, but still faces a wrongful-death lawsuit in a case that some Denver-area authorities have likened to O.J. Simpson and JonBenet Ramsey.
James Garner, an oil industry consultant, was found innocent of three counts of
first-degree murder and one count of attempted murder. The charges stemmed
from the Jan. 19, 1998 shooting deaths of Garner's 37-year-old wife,
Lisa Hanschu-Garner, and her parents David Hanschu, 64, and
Mary Ann Hanschu, 62, as they slept.

My Lord I never knew of this until now 7/20/2009. I am so very sorry to read this as Lisa was a lovely person that was not judge mental and genuine as a friend and classmate. I am so crushed to learn of this. May punishment be set forth by his maker.
