Dan, Dayne & I were know as the "Three D's". Dan was my best friend thru high school. The three of us were almost in separable. Years had passed when I had moved to Los Angles, he contacted me after the 10 year reunion party & book went out with updates on our classmates. He was planning a trip to Los Angeles to see me. I went to Miami to work on a film, came back from the work to find a message from him on my recorder, later to come to KC for a visit only to hear the news of his death. I didn't even get a chance to attend the funeral. No one contacted me. I was quite upset & never got the chance to say good-bye to one of my closest friends in high school & the few years after. Dan loved to play his base & listen to the Beatles. Dan to this day I still say the White album was the Beatles best my friend~Rock On
Wow...I just checked out the PICTURE OF THE DAY. Made my heart hurt. We will miss Dan and all of our other classmates unable to be with us in July. Lots of good times with Dan...miss you! Stacey
