 In Loving Memory Gina Marie Ross Boos

 Gina Marie  Ross Boos, 49, of Salina, KS, formerly of Overland Park, KS was called  to Heaven on September 23rd following her long battle with brain cancer.  Visitation will be 3-6 p.m. Sunday, September 26th at Porter Funeral  Home and the Rosary will be recited at 5:30 p.m. The Funeral Liturgy  will be 9:30 a.m. Monday, September 27th at the Church of the Ascension,  9510 W. 127th St., Overland Park, KS. Entombment in Resurrection  Mausoleum, 83rd & Quivira Rd, Lenexa, KS.
 In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions to the  'Gina Marie Boos Scholarship Fund' benefitting her precious children --  Lauren, Joey and Bonnie of Salina, Ks. Contributions, via cash or check,  can be sent to Union Bank & Trust at 11460 Tomahawk Creek, suite  120, Leawood, Ks 66211. Gina was born December 9, 1960, in Kansas City, MO and had lived most  of her life in Overland Park before moving to Salina in 2005. She was  the eldest of six and was the consummate older sister, devoted daughter,  loving mother and dedicated wife. She was a 1979 graduate of Shawnee  Mission South High School where she was a proud member of the Flag Team  and a 1984 graduate of her beloved Kansas State University. She  graduated with a bachelor degree in Early Childhood Development where  she was a member of Alpha Delta Pi Sorority. Gina had been a Corporate  Director of Sales and Marketing for her father at Grand American Hotels  before starting her dream job of being a wife and mother to her  family. Always quick with a smile, a hug and a laugh, Gina touched the  lives of so many throughout her 49 years. Her laughter was infectious  and her caring and compassion ways were evident in all that she did. She  was a member of St. Mary Queen  of the Universe Catholic Church in Salina and a former member of Church  of the Ascension in Overland Park. Gina is survived by her devoted  husband and best friend of 24 years, Donald P. Boos and three children,  Lauren, Joey and Bonnie all of the home, her parents, Joseph F. and  Bonnie J. Ross, Overland Park, KS, five siblings, Bonnie Ross Clifton,  Oklahoma City, OK, Francis J. Ross, Atlanta, GA, Joseph T. Ross,  Overland Park, KS, Rick B. Ross, Los Angeles, CA and Kristi Ross Glenn,  Overland Park, KS and 20 nieces and nephews. She was predeceased in  death by her maternal Grandparents, Joe and Bonnie Grisafe; paternal  Grandparents, Frank J. and Fanny Ross and her cousin Vincent E. Boos. |
