I remember hearing or reading that Jason had died from injuries, sustained in a car accident, just a few, short years after we had graduated from High School. And I remember thinking "No, he couldn't have died. We just graduated. All of our lives are just beginning." To this day, it makes me sad that his life was cut so short. He was one of the "cowboys" and such a nice guy. He and I weren't close friends....but we had classes together and we talked and laughed. I considered him a friend. He's been gone many years now. Makes me so sad. Still.
