FROM JOHN VARNER:
I first met Judy in 1964 at a church youth group. We were in the Nallwood and South Bands together, ran with the same group of friends, and had a blast. We stayed in touch after graduation. She married Rick Walters, one of our group of buddies, and they visited at our lake place up north in Minnesota several times in the Eighties.
Judy was one of the few truly genuine and honest people I have ever known. She had one of those uplifting personalities that we all just wanted to be around and enjoy. I believe she was the sister I never had.
You think others will always be around you, and then they are not. I should have stayed in better contact with her over the years. https://www.charterfunerals.com/Obituary/2018/07/07/Judith+G+Maynard
