Pat and i took one crazy spring breat trip. He had been learning how to ski and wanted to go to Colorado and i said i knew Aspen well our family went there ever Christmas vacation for 2 weeks for close to a decade. My father let me take the convertible with a ski rack on the back. We stayed at a cool hostile i found with hot tub and pool. We skied for three days , got sunburn and partied so much that when we brought two girls back from Aspen Highlands i forgot the skis were on the back lowered the top and skis came right through that. Worked to buy the new top but the memories stay with me forever and so sorry about Pat he was a fun spot.
Pat was one of my best friends from high school. I was around sometimes when Pat would pull his shenanigans at South. Once, in the library, he put records on the turntables, crank up the volume, and then dash out the door. It took the phonographs a moment to warm up, but you here the music all the way down near the office. We also worked together at Meadowbrook Country Club. Pat was a character. I miss him. He was a good guy!
Pat once threw unwrapped Baby Ruth bars in the swimming pool, and because they floated, it gave the appearance that someone had a bowel movement in the pool while swimming!
