Scott was a great guy and a lot of fun. He was a good football player as well. SM West was in Topeka, I think it was our senior year, and Scott forgot his cleats. My dad knew the owner of a sporting goods store and gave him a call. As you remember, many stores closed in the evening at that time. The owner met Scott and my dad at the store and my dad bought a pair of cleats for Scott so he could play in the game against Topeka West. I'm sure Phil will correct anything I've said that comes from a 50 year old memory!
I met Scott at Milburn when many Hocker Grove students were transferred in their freshman year. I dated Scott in high school and he was a special guy besides being cute! I think his football number was "21". I'm like my other classmates, 50 years of memory overload allow us to make mistakes!
I was sad to hear of his passing as well as so many of our classmates.
Scott and I were close buddies living in the same neighborhood. He always had the happy go lucky smile. We shared a lt of times together from junior high-hocker hoods to SMW. We lost contact after high school, but I will remember the good old days. RIP.

Rest in peace, Scott!
