What have you been up to since you graduated?
Worked for Gannett in Elmira from March 19, 1964 until 1970. I did just about every production job there was, including 3 forman jobs. Next I went to work for LaserGraphicSystems of Sudbury, Mass. Gannett was the majority share owner and gave their blessing with the understanding I could return to them when I wanted. While I was with them I got to travel quite a bit. Sometimes I got to take my family for 3 or 4 months at a time. They gave me a lot more training too.
In 1974 I returned to Gannett where I formed their first tech services dept. Later I was promoted to Production Director in Elmira with 7 depts. reporting to me. I retired from that position in 1993 to run my own business. I made hand carved Oak clocks. I made a couple thousand of them. It felt good to use some of my artistic talents again. I have retired from that now too.
If I can find a picture of a clock I might post it later.
I still find some time now and then to paint a bit, mostly poitraits.
Now I have a cellar full of HO model railroad that keeps me busy.
