1964-66, USS John A. Bole (DD-755), a destroyer homeported in San Diego. Served as 1st Lt. and DASH Officer. 2 cruises to Western Pacific.

1966-68, USS Mahan (DLG-11), a guided missle frigate homeported in San Diego. Served as Gunnery Officer, 1 cruise to Western Pacific.

1968-69, Naval Support Activity, Siagon. Served as Special Services Officer in charge of the recreation program for Navy personnel in II, III and IV Corps in Vietman.

1970-76, Masonite Corp, a building materials manufacturer, Chicago and Orlando. Held positions of Product Mgr and Sales Mgr.

1976-80, Certainteed Corp,a building materials manufacturer, Valley Forge, PA. Held positions of Product Mgr and Sales Mgr.

1980-90, Jotul USA, an importer and distributor of cast iron stoves and fireplaces from Norway, Portland, ME. Held positions of VP Marketing and Gen Mgr.

1990-02, Berg Associates, Cape Elizabeth, ME. Held position as Pres. of my Manufacturers Sales Rep company which sold fireplace equipment, patio furniture and high-end BBQ grills.

2002 Retired and moved to Southport, NC.
