Jean Newman DeLauer

I raised my daughter, an engineer and then began working, going to school and graduated with a BS degree from Notre Dame College. I worked as a Proposal Automation Engineer at ABB in Wickliffe (Formerly Bailey Controls) and retired in 2010. When my daughter was growing up I was a room mother, and involved with Brownies & Junior Girlscouts, and took my daughter to gymnastics, piano and swimming and was highly involved with her and her friends' lives taking them to multiple concerts, roller skating & the movies - I was the cool mom! I love nature and volunteered at Penetentiary Glen and Farmpark in Kirtland. I enjoy getting together with friends and my partner John with whom I enjoy spending time going to dinner, the theater, movies and walks. I have recently gone to Reno, Boston, Alaska and Hawaii. I'm looking forward to seeing my classmates at the reunion.
