It's been almost 7 years since Jeff was killed and since he won't be at this reunion and share with everyone some of his accomplishments after high school I'll do it for him.

First Jeff got a full scholarship to play basball at Iowa Western CC where he lead them to the Junior Colleg World Series. He also led the nation in hitting was a First Team All American and played for the United States in World Games where they won a Gold Medal. He was also drafted in the 15th round to play for the Phillies.

That medal hangs in Nebraska at Sharon's new house with herself her new husband and 2 boys. Matt and Blake. Matt will be 22 in May and Blake will graduate from high school this May. Matt is working and Blake is keeping up his dad's baseball ways as he was a Nebraksa 1st team baseball player his Junior year and has already accepted
a scholarship to play ball in Kansas next year.

He was a good dad, a good friend and a great brother and he'll always be missed.

I'll never forget the great times that Jeff, Brad and the boys in the neighborhood shared together during and after high school.

Pound-for-pound, Jeff was the most gifted athlete I have known, and even though we didn't talk or get together often after our college days, it was special when we did.

Whenever I see a speedy left-handed hitter spray one into left field and "go for two," I smile and think of Jeff.

He was a fun guy and in losing him so prematurely, will be remembered as "forever young."

I will never forget playing football with Jeff, and watching him blow the doors off anyone chasing him. He had blistering speed with his feet , and his witt. He saw the subtle humour in things and never had a cross word. I miss his friendship.
