I remember his accident as if it were yesterday. Alex was the first friend I lost. I met him at Raymond Cree he was a nice guy and always involved in something. Peace to you Alex.Mitch King
When I moved to Palm Springs from Chicago in 1968 Alex was my first friend. We lived close to each other and quickly became best friends. I have many stories and memories of Alex, Scott Chariton, all the kids from Katherine Finchy, Raymond Cree and PSHS to fill volumes. I have kept in touch with his family members as best as I can. His one brother Lee was Palm Springs police chief for many years and is now on the City Council. I think of Alex often, wondering where life might have taken him. Never once do I drive on Ramon Road in front of PSHS and not think of that horrible day. I am sure that Alex would have kept in our little group and is happy that you have remembered him to this day. God Bless!Theresa Rivas
I remember his from raymond cree and PSHS we was so nice and was taken to early in left. He was the first person I new that died so young. And when aI heard it I was shocked and sadden by it. We lost a beautiful person to early.Peace be with you and your family alwaysScott Chariton
As Mitch said, we all had some pretty good times together. I won't say that they were the first to corrupt me but the words; "Strawberry Hill and Pagen Pink Ripple were definitely a part of our vocabulary. There was this little place we used to go, under the ice cream shop next to Taco House and I will never forget the crowd that hung out under there. We were at the Youth Center more than we were at home and I miss him a ton. At least I still have crazy Mitch to share stories with. I saw his brother Lee when he was police chief and told him he was the spitting image of Alex. He is exactly what Alex would look like today.
