  Garlan "Gar" Monroe Hulslander Palm Springs - Garlan 'Gar' Monroe Hulslander went to Glory on September 2, 2018. He was born in Long Beach, CA March 10, 1959. He grew up in the Veterans Track in Palm Springs spending his time at Demuth Park playing sports. He graduated from Palm Springs High in 1977. He was part of the motocross and football team. Most remember him not only for his hair and his 'Cuda', but also for his friendship, integrity, loyalty, and being a kind soul. He leaves behind his wife Deborah, daughters Madison and Kaitlyn, beloved mother Diane, brother Mike, sister Jenny, uncles, aunts, cousins and many friends. He is preceded in death by his father Carl. Growing up, his family loved to spend the summers in Montana, where he loved to fish, ride motorcycles and listen to campfire stories. Gar started his career at Cove Electric, where he worked for 35 years, working his way up to become the President. His destiny led him to Southern California West Coast Electric with treasured friends. Gar enjoyed hiking the Bump and Grind, lifting weights, and was strong in his Christian Faith. His love for motorcycles never ceased and he continued to ride with his friends until he was diagnosed with Cancer in 2017. Gar will be dearly missed by many.
