Physics professor at the University of Alabama. Some time spent at UC Berkeley and Cal Poly SLO. Served as Assistant Dean of A&S, and as dept head of both the dept. of Physics and Astronomy and the dept. of Romance Languages and Classics (go figure). The latter was in a meltdown and I went in to cool things off.
Have traveled to Europe and Caribbean some. Like to snorkel, hike, look for birds, travel.
