Comments:

I visited Chile, Mexico, Tanzania, all of Europe, Bolivia, Nicaragua, Cuba, Guatemala, Costa Rica, and Kenya. In 2001 I was artist-in-residence at the Marin Headlands Center for the Arts. I have written over two short story volumes I hope to someday publish in book form. But most special of all after my children were born, I have been loving them, playing, learning, teaching, and growing with them... Yes, since 1980 I have for sure been growing up mostly.

School Story:

To many to mention. Specially Ms. Trudy Albert teaching me to pronounce the "s" sound correctly on all its many different forms, and including shi... because I remember sharing with her how frustrated I felt about not being understood when all I was asking for was "sugar" at the cafeteria, but pronouncing the "s" sound of the letter as it is done in Spanish. Of course, the three people I remember most are my good friends Meg, Eldad and Diego. Looking back, Gunn was really good to me.
