Gene suffered a massive heart attack and passed away in 1979 while on vacation with his Parents in Hawaii. Gene was a wonderful friend and kind young man, when traveling on vacation Gene would always take time to send postcards and make you feel special.

Gene was a close family friend. We grew up together, and always played piano duets together. He was a good kid.

Gene was a good person. I have fond memories of Gene growing up, sleep overs, hanging out at each others houses in grade school. I remember his dad's indomitable spirit as well. It is very sad that he won't be with us.
