What have you been up to since high school:

Went to Cal after Gunn. Traveled a lot. Got a BA in history. Lived and worked in Japan for 1 year. Returned to Cal for a PHD program in Japanese History but left after completing my MA. Got married to my college sweetheart. Went to Stanford Law School where I had my first two kids. Started practice as a litigator at Howard Rice in SF (had my third baby as a first year associate). Left litigation to become an Employee Benefits/ERISA attorney, which is what I've been doing in Palo Alto ever since. Bought a house in Palo Alto and did the suburban working mom soccer thing. Tatyana and Cy are at Bard (early college) in Mass. My youngest, Olivia, is at Gunn where she is the Captain of the Cheer team so I'm back at the Football field and back in the Gym cheering on Gunn. Go Titans! After 20 years of marriage, I got divorced last year. Live at the beach. Work a lot but love my job so that's ok. On the Board of the ACLU of NC, which is my true passion. Fairly involved with Stanford Alum (sorry fellow Cal grads, its just so convenient to do thigns at the Farm since I'm down the street). Speak a lot these days on health care reform and occassionally speak on the topic of "gifted kids and gifted education." Eclectic, I know.
Spend oodles of time on the beach with my little dog. Spend the rest of my free time hanging with friends & family (my Mom and 3 sisters are finally all back in the US and back in the Bay Area and I've got 8 nieces and nephews), dancing, reading, watching football, going to listen to awesome music, ocassionally ending up in dive Karaoke bars and generally enjoying life. Trying to figure out a way to end up in the Congo living with the Bonobos.
