I am not sure whether or not any of you heard that Clarence Hamm died on June 1, 2017.
He and I had kept in contact over the years. I went to his memorial on June 22 in P.A. and they had a big picture of him in front right out of our Paly '56 year book.
I remember Clarence at the 50th reunion and have never forgotten his friendly warmth. Why at Paly did so many of us limit ourselves to some small clique and never get to know more of these great classmates?

Ed McLachlan, I went to the 30th, 40th and 50th and called Clarence and sent him a few letters and
a Christmas card. He came to the 55th and I didn't, so I wrote and teased him. Yes, there was just
something we didn't realise as teenagers, but so many have terrific track records, ED
