Jeff was a member of the Garland Elementary group of kids, and a great classmate as we grew up. I'm sure I speak for all who knew him when I say, Jeff was a class act, soft spoken guy that was certainly a major part of our great childhood growing up in Palo Alto! Thanks for being our friend Jeff!
Our prayers are with the Carlson Family and all that he touched.
Daniel Lucas
The funeral is in LA noon wed. Ricky Farmer, Gerry Bliss, Mike Wiebenson & Dan Lucas will be going.

Jeff was a friend back in high school whom I really liked - always a nice and cheerful guy. I remember skiing with him, his love of photography - I think I still have pictures he took and developed in his dark room of me skiing at tahoe and of a concert at Frost. I visited him at UCSD and went to his wedding at the Bell Air, but lost touch with him over the years. I hope he is in a better place and my condolences to his loved ones.

Rest In Peace Jeff - Condolences to your family
My earliest memory of Jeff goes back to our Jordan days - after school, we'd go over to his house, next to the school and wear out the vinyl on his Led Zeppelin One Album and especially "Good TImes Bad Times." 1969 was the year and we had some damn Good Times! He was a great guy, always wore a smile and I'm glad we had the chance to meet along the way. John

Carlson always had a huge smile. From the first day I met Jeff at Jordan, through Paly's PE classes, & then again down in San Diego, he was always cheerful.
I had run into a large store, that had a pharmacy (Walmart?) near SDSU, and there was Jeff. He had his typical beaming smile, welcoming me with a huge hand shake. I think he introduced himself as the store manager, with white shirt and tie...but then we were in our early twenties! Talk about the world shrinking down! I was so glad to see Jeff, and that he actually recognized me was so huge to me! I am glad that I got to know Jeff, but then it is so sad to realize that he has passed on.
I just want to say thank you, to all of you that have written, & that this site actually exists for us to use. And onnce more to the Carlson clan, God Speed.

Here is a photo of Jeff with his wife. Have to say, that this class website is a great way to be able to share memories about each other...
