Kris,

I believe you passed 1976-81 time frame. Had gone out

to party as we all did in those days, and sadly fell asleep at the wheel on the way home..

I remember hearing about this though the grapevine.  Your old boyfriend Jack Fulton (also RIP)

came to mind in that same moment of learning such news....... Because :-------)

You slow danced with me my senior year. Oh I was such a timid  nerd LOL.

This was the  first close, slow dance of my life (I smile and chuckle to this day).

I was so scared, wanted to ask you out, but you had a boy friend, and been with Jack most

if not all the years at Paly... There were rules in those days :-----)....

I believe this was our "Senior Dance", and I was working the candy section of the party hahaha.

Well that reinforces how young/goofy  I was as a senior in high school!!

I still think nice thoughts of you every now and then. Thank you for always being nice to me

at Paly High!!

Special Thoughts to you and all the people's lives you touched.....

David

I ran into Kristel’s sister Sharon  a few weeks back at a memorial service for a mutual friend of our parents.  Sharon  (Paly-71) provided the following details about Kris.

Born Kristel Jean Eifert on December 31, 1954 to parents Dean and Joan Eifert of Palo Alto.  Kris attended Jordan Junior High School and graduated in 1973 from Palo Alto High School living all of her life in Palo Alto.  Kris died on November 18th, 1977 as the result of a single car accident when her car left the roadway.  She was returning home from a party.
