I am very sorry to hear of Valerie's passing. Although I didn't know her well, we were in several classes together at Jordan and Paly, and we had some nice talks. I remember her as a very warm, friendly, intelligent person - the kind of person we need in this world! May her memory be a blessing. RIP Valerie.
Valerie grew up on Greer Rd just around the corner from us on Blair Ct. We were in, probably every class together at Garland Elementary, and, aside from her beautiful red hair, her early claim to fame was that she hosted the FIRST real party any of us ever went to that had a live band, with the potential for boys and girls to actually dance together. We were in the 6th grade, and the band only knew 4 songs. Thank you Valerie for that memory etched in our minds forever. My sincerest condolences to the Dorr Family for your loss.
