Eric Spansel died November 2, 2020, age 68. He is survived by his son, Ivan Spansel, and daughter, Kari Spansel. Eric spend 20 to 30 years living and working in the Santa Cruz, Capitola, and south to Watsonville area. He and former wife (Carol) raised two great children, Ivan and Kari. Eric spent most of his professional life working for First Alarm. Initially he was a security tech/installer, then a system designer, and ultimately in management. He had a brief, but valiant struggle with debilitating disease and passed with loved ones nearby. Too short of life for a good man & father. Rest in peace, Eric!
