I have so many fun, silly memories of hanging out with Kristi! I still laugh out loud sometimes, when I drive on San Antonio Road, by the (old) Mayfield Mall -- remembering one time, driving with Kristi in her little yellow VW bug. We came zooming down the "hill" on San Antonio, over the RR tracks and Central Expressway, but the light at the bottom was red and each of the lanes had a car, stopped at the red light @ Nita Avenue. of course we were in a hurry and I think chasing some cute guy in his car :-) So, Kristi just flew through the intersection -- BETWEEN the two cars at the stop light!!! Super crazy!!! We laughed and laughed (maybe thankful she gauged the space between the cars properly!) (Phew!) did we ever catch up to that guy's car!?!?! Hahaha....I don't think so! Kristy and I went to a Foothill College for a while and worked at Mervyn's together too. We lost touch for several years, then I ran into her at Twin Creeks one night. We became close again -- around our 15 year reunion, only to lose her to cancer fairly soon after that. I miss her and long to laugh with her again. :-)
I will always miss Kristy. We were so silly at times. The last time I saw Kristy was at the Super Bowl game at Stanford. I would have never thought it would be the last time I would see her.I will always have kind thoughts of you.
