ANNOUNCEMENTS

Hey now Class of 89, I truly hope this finds everyone happy & healthy.  We have begun the discussions for the 25yr reunion and it should be red hot.   Details will begin to creep out slowly but surely, but I think its safe to say that you can try to save the Saturday after Thanksgiving, November 29, 2014 for a real rager.  It will no longer be a picnic but a adults only type function.   Nice.

As always, please make sure to update your contact info and take a peek at the missing mates section to see if you have any 411 on them.  You can check me out on here, or here: ron@impactevent.com, or here 773.416.4260.    Thanks!!

Couple of other announcements:

** It has come to my attention that someone has been spewing hateful comments and images on this site.   I feel it is the result of someone hacking the site, but would like to know if anyone else has experienced anything offensive.  We are working with the website administrators currently to see if we can find anything out.  Im sorry for anyone who has experienced anything distasteful and will see if we can get to the bottom of it.

** The Class of 89 has lost yet another classmate.  It saddens me to announce the death of Rico Dusk.  Rico passed away on January 21, 2013.  Rico was an amazing friend and gentle soul, and he will be missed by anyone who knew him.  After a horrrific work accident Rico spent many years suffering and in intense therapy and rehab.  It is my understanding he died peacefully surrounded by family & friends in his hometown of Island Lake, IL.   I did not find out about his passing until many months after, and I am sorry I could not get a chance to see him again.   The photo below is how I will remember Rico, its exactly what he looked like when he strolled the AAS hallways & exactly what he looked like the last time I had beers with him.  RIP, Rico & God Bless!!  XO
