Funeral services for LaNell Hart, 78, were held on Saturday, November 5th, 2022. Commencement began at 2pm at Judson Baptist Church, Cayuga, TX. Pastor Danny Waterson officiating, with interment to follow at the Judson Cemetery in Cayuga, Texas under the direction of Autry’s Carroll-Lehr Funeral Home. LaNell passed away Wednesday October 19, in her home surrounded by loved ones. She was born August 19, 1944 in Pampa, Texas to the late Ebb and Inez Riley. LaNell married and started a family along with her career in the Arlington,TX area where she was extremely involved in church, Sunday school teaching, directing church drama and working with youth groups. She then moved to Bakersfield, CA for 22 years with her beloved Ross where she was wife, Grandmother, home-maker, and article writer for local news magazines. She was a graduate from the University of California with a bachelors in marketing. Her career entailed secretary, homeremodel construction, Marketing VP, teacher, and published writer, she lived a lifetime of great achievements and touched so many peoples lives with her faith, ministry, and prayer life. Her strong faith in God and Jesus Christ kept her steady through the years of battling cancer. She was preceded in death by two men she loved dearly Darrell Thornton and Ross Hart. Survivors include her children William ‘Ted’ Thornton and his children Kurt and Jett. Daughter and son in law Darielle and Lee Hunt, and their children Chris and Brooke, Megan and Greg. Step son Ross and Mari Hart, and their children Kenny and Kylie, Saya and Kaden, Mia and Shane. Step Daughter Kelly and Monty Moshier and their children Pierie and Tyler, Kameron and Lourdes, Konner and True, Makinna and Jaden, Kirsten and Myles, Kieralynn, Parin, and Kyler. Step son John and Janna Hart and their children, Jared and Rianna, Jaden, Jacey, Jackson, and Joely. Step daughter Lisa and Adam Hamblin and their children, Isaac and Gabby, Emma, Ethan, Keri, and Noah. 

And oodles’n’oodles of Great Grandchildren!
