Sherilyn “Sheril” Fields, 64, of Pampa passed away on Monday, December 10, 2018 at her home in Pampa.

Memorial services will be at 2:00 PM Friday, December 14, 2018 at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel with Rev. Fred Palmer, retired minister, officiating.  Cremation and arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.

Mrs. Fields was born August 26, 1954 in Pampa to Doug and Dolores Mains. She graduated from Pampa High School in 1972.  After high school she began working as a nurse’s aide at Pampa Nursing Center and Coronado Nursing Home.  She married Billy Fields on July 11, 1978 in Raton, NM.  Shortly after they married, she went to Frank Phillips College and earned her LVN degree and began to work at Pampa Regional Medical Center.  In 1999 she started work at the Jordan Unit as a nurse and retired in 2016. She cared for all and was loved by many.  Sheril always enjoyed going shopping and getting her hair and nails done at the salon.  She loved to travel, especially her trips to Las Vegas.  Sheril loved her nieces and nephews and was like a second mother to them.  Some of her hobbies included painting and doing ceramics and going to concerts.  One of her favorites was seeing Celine Deon in Vegas at the new coliseum, also going to George Strait, The Eagles, and Shania Twain.  She was loved and will be missed by her family.  Sheril was preceded in death by her nephew, Matt Bowen, her step father who raised her, W.N. Bowen, and her parents.

Survivors include her husband, Billy Fields of the home; brother, Bryan Bowen and wife Glenda; nieces, Haley Moler and husband Justin, Lauren Lopez and husband Patrick, and Megan Bowen; nephew, Bryson Bowen; great nieces, Ailey Lopez, Emily Lopez, McKenzie Moler, Maci Grace Bowen; great nephews, Gabriel Solis, Eli Lopez, Zo Lopez, and Jaxon Moler who is on the way.
