Robert did always have a quick, witty humor. I had a brief pleasant encounter with him at a Lubbock gas station in the seventies. If I am not mistaken, I believe that he was on a talk radio station in Lubbock. He had a strong baritone voice.  I only wish that I had known that he was a parishioner at the Saint Thomas More Catholic Church on Hilcrest Ave. in Houston. I would have attended mass there and got to see him again when I lived in Houston. Rest in peace Robert!
