Seeing Karen's name on this list is an unpleasant surprise.  We had some classes together, she was a quiet thoughtful person who was always willing to lend a hand or offer a kind word. Like many others who knew her - I will miss seeing her next month.

Went elementary to high school with Karen. We were also in Girl Scouts together.  I remember quite fondly going to the ceramic shop where her mom worked and painting all sorts of ceramics---many fun memories!

Karen and I were good friends from when she lived close to me.  She was a beautiful person inside and out.  One specific memory comes back to me when she asked me out to the movie "The Way We Were' on Sadie Hawkins week at school. She is sadly missed but with us in spirit as well as ALL of our classmates that have gone on.  RIP my friends!

I met Karen at Jenks . I had just moved here from Tennessee. I was really shy and quiet and Karen took me under her wing to show me Panama City. She was my best friend all through High School. We had a blast hanging out at the drive in and the Miracle Strip Two of the funniest memories I have of her is the time at the beach I stepped on a crab. I screamed and jumped in her arms, she carried me out of the water and the night we were at the drive in her car. Her seat broke while we were sitting there. I had to sit behind her riding home with my feet holding up the back of her seat . We laughed about those times for years. Karen was killed in Pensacola but her boyfriends father. It was a very sad time for me. Karen I see your sweet smile everytime I see your daughter Nettie. She has grown into a beautiful woman. I love you and I miss you.
