Annelle was in my home room for six years and rode to school with me regularly in high school. She was such a sweet friend. I remember reading about her accident in the paper like it was yesterday and how totally heartbroken her mom and dad were.
Annelle was such a sweet person, she was as beautiful inside as she was on the outside. I can see her now walking up to my cotton candy booth at the Mircle Strip Amusement Park with that shy smile. She'd tell me about getting off work, we'd laugh at some poor tourist getting sick in the Bullett next to the booth. And then she'd be on her way...with all the guys watching her. Nobody could rock a pair of bell bottom hip huggers like Annelle... God bless you Annelle.
Annelle only lived about a block from me for years, and though I never got to really know her, she was always friendly and smiling. I was stunned when I heard she had been killed right after highschool, I'm glad we still remember her.
I remember her and how sweet she was. I would bowl with her and Susie Jacob at the Bowlarama on Saturdays. It was fun to be around her. We would dance with the juke box. So sad she died not long after graduation. She had so much going for her. Miss her.
