John Williams was so full of life its a damn shame his was cut so short.  I remember we were always on the water either surfing, sailing out of St. Andrews Bay Yacht Club, cruising in his Dad's boat the Bali Hai, or in my boat.  I remember when the shipyard used to have old ships moored out by Bird Island, they had a submarine out there.  One day we decided to park my boat next to it and climbed up the side and down into the sub exploring.  We only had matches to light our way and I remember John disappeared into the darkness only to jump out and scare the hell out of us as we tried to catch up with him.  On Tuesdays at Gulf Coast during our first semester, I used to take my boat to school.  We had an assembly at 10:00am in the auditorium, we had just gotten out of Algebra and blazed through our homework so we could go skiing out at Carl Gray Park until our next class at 1:20.  I miss you John Boy, God bless you.

John you were a hoot!  So full of life.  I remember always seeing you in the Cove, usually hanging out with some others I knew. You were always part of "the gang".   I remember going to the Cherry Street school Halloween Carnival and getting into all kinds of things with you there.  Or hanging  out with Jimbo Brock,  Carolyn Fleming, and others you were there too!   Usually we all  were up to no good.  Miss you, and so sorry you did not get old with us.
