William J. 'Bill" Bolen
William J. "Bill" Bolen, 76, passed away peacefully at Jersey Shore University Medical Center on April 7, 2025. Bill was born in Brooklyn, NY and was raised in Paramus, NJ. Bill graduated from Paramus High School, then went to Brooklyn College. Bill later became a Licensed Optician. Bill joined the US Army, where he served in the Vietnam War and was honorably discharged. He then moved to Brick, NJ, where he would settle down for the next 35 years. Bill enjoyed fishing with his friends, classical cars, and was a lover of dogs, as well as the Yankees. Bill founded his own Classic Cadillac Club. Bill was a Knight of Columbus and was the first captain of the Carlstadt Ambulance Corp.
Bill is survived by his wife, Meg McNamara of Brick, NJ, and his sister Amy Fairchild of Howell, NJ. He is also survived by a host of nieces, and grand-nieces and nephews.
