James Hilston

Dr. James Hilston, 55, of Harleysville, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, July 19, 2012 at Grand View Hospital in West Rockhill Twp. He was the beloved husband of Sharon (O'Neill) Hilston to whom he was married for over 20 years.

Born June 4, 1957 in New York City, he was the son of Gerard Hilston and the late Rose (Schwarz) Hilston. Dr. Hilston was a graduate of Paramus High School.  After high school he graduated from the Rutgers University earning his B.A. in Business Administration.  He then attended and graduated from Sherman College of Straight Chiropractic, Class of 1985, where he has been Regent on Sherman College's Distinguished Board of Regents.

Dr. Hilston was the owner of the Harleysville Chiropractic Office in Harleysville since 1986.  In addition to his wife and father, he is survived by his son, Randall "Randy" Hilston; his brothers, Thomas Hilston and his wife, Phyllis, of Scottsdale and Dr. Charles Hilston and his wife, Dr. Marylyn, of Phoenixville; and his nieces, Melissa, Allison, and Katy.
