Robert Vincent Connolly (Bob), 81, died on Thursday, June 15, 2023.
Bob was born in Teaneck, NJ, godson of Vince Lombardi, grew up in Tenafly, and graduated in 1959. He then happily resided in Ridgewood for most of his life. He is survived by his wife Barbara, son Christopher, son Robert (Michelle), daughter Shawn (Dan), four granddaughters Kaitlin, Natalie, Keira, and Charli, twin brother Brian, best friend Tom, and dog Chloe. He was predeceased by his older brother John.
Bob was a teacher in Paramus for 39 years and a realtor for 25 years. He was an avid reader, golfer, and coffee drinker, a fan of 50’s oldies and recording TV programming, a frequent diner of Matthews in Waldwick, Callahan’s, and 7-11 for hot dogs, as well as a local high school sports fanatic and loyal supporter of the NY Yankees and Giants. He loved cruising in his convertible with his dog in his lap and enjoyed time relaxing with family and friends.

Bob was much loved and will be deeply missed by his family and friends. Rest in peace.
