Jerry E. Bandy, of Sterling Heights; passed away on October 27, 2015, age 69. Loving husband of Valerie; proud father of Jason (Mallory) Bandy; grandfather of Tenley; caring brother of Linda (Randy) Nickerson, Karen (Terry) Riley, Becky (Chuck) Long, as well as many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Jerry was preceded in death by his parents James and Marian Bandy. Jerry served in the US Army. He was a hard-working, caring, and compassionate person and will be sadly missed. The visitation will be Friday from 4 PM until 9PM at the Vermeulen-Sajewski Funeral Home, 980 N. Newburgh Road, Westland. The Funeral Service will be Saturday at 1PM at the funeral home. The family will greet friends on Saturday starting at 12 PM. Internment at Fort Custer National Cemetery, Battle Creek, MI.
