Clarence Sadler, Jr. Obituary

Clarence Alfred Sadler, Jr., known to friends and family as Fred, was born on January 28, 1947 and passed away on May 1, 2024.  Fred is survived by immediate family that includes his wife of 55 years, Vicki, son Ben, daughter-in-law Amy, and granddaughters, Avery and Aubree Sadler. In addition, Fred is survived by his sisters, Mimi Taylor, and Amy Moore and her husband, Bill Moore. Fred joins in heaven his parents, Clarence “Pete” Sadler, Sr and Eleanor Sadler, his sister Kathy Lynch, and brother-in-law Wayne Taylor.  Fred was an uncle to nieces Ellen Moore, Tonya Jumonville, and Jenna Jumonville and nephews Nate Taylor, Brent Taylor, Lee Lynch, Daniel Moore, and JT Jumonville. 

During his life, Fred had a long career and enjoyed working in the financial services industry where he amassed many friends and colleagues that he remained close to during his work years and after his retirement in 2018.

In his spare time, Fred was an avid sports fan and enjoyed watching and following PGA Tour Golf, college football, and University of Kentucky basketball. During his life his many hobbies and interests included the love of boating, scuba diving, hiking, golfing, and spending time with his family and friends.

Fred was a loyal and caring person who showed that care throughout his life through his interactions with all he came in contact with.  He will be missed by all those who were lucky enough to have counted him as a friend.

A celebration of life is currently being planned for Fred by his family, who invite all who knew and love him to attend and share special memories of their time together.  Those details will be shared at a later date.
