E. Wallace (Wally) Roe

”Wally” E. Wallace Roe, Jr. 77, husband of Sue Lucky Roe for 53 years, died Thursday, November 18, 2021 at the Bourbon Community Hospital, Paris, KY. A native of Paris, KY, he was the son of the late Wallace Roe, Sr. and Iva Vandy Roe. He was a retired electrician, retired from the United States Army Reserves where he proudly served, was an Eagle Scout and a member of Bedford Acres Christian Church, Paris, KY. In addition to his wife, he was survived by two children, Elmer W. (JaDawna) Roe III and Ret. SFC Nathan Lucky (Karen) Roe; five grandchildren, Nate Roe, Alex Roe, Hunter Roe, Kalynn (Tony) Polzin and Seth Cameron; one niece, Tammy (Jimmy) Willard and a number of cousins. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Donald Roe. There will be a graveside memorial service conducted at 12:00 PM Wednesday, November 24, 2021 at the Evergreen Memory Gardens, 5364 Lexington Road, Lexington, KY by Don Menke. Burial will be in the Evergreen Memory Gardens. The family would like to express their appreciation to the Paris and Bourbon County EMS and Firefighters for their kindness and help during the illness of Mr. Roe.
