Wilbur Charles Barg, 62, of Fargo, N.D., formerly Park Rapids, passed away from cancer on Friday, July 16, 2010 at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Fargo, N.D.

Wilbur was born to Frederick and Eloyse Barg in Park Rapids on Oct. 10, 1947.

He attended school in Park Rapids and graduated from high school in 1965. He served in the U.S. Air Force from 1966 to 1970 during the Vietnam War era.

Wilbur worked as a pipefitter, in insurance sales, was a licensed beautician, worked in the Minnesota iron mines and was an auto mechanic.
