I too would want/need to know what happened! Joe was in my Building Trades class for three years with "Mr. Kominiak". We always hung out, & usually causing some sort of trouble. I think of you quite often & I just now signed up to this web site to see this. If anyone knows the details, please post to us. Thank You.
He was shot 10 years ago in Georgia and killed. He worked the graveyard shift for some company and the last thing he had told his family was "he had been an innocent bystander and saw some sort of crime happen and was worried that he would be in trouble for being in the wrong place at the wrong time." Then he was killed. His family hired endless detectives but nothing was ever found out.
I ran into Joe's sister Donna and she told me the sad story of Joe's death. When he was 35 (about 10 years ago), he was living with his wife in a small town in Georgia. She said they kinda lived in the woods somewhere very remote. Anyway, he had a job where he worked the graveyard shift and for a few weeks before his death he had told family members that he was worried because he had witnessed something shady or been in the wrong place at the wrong time and was concerned for his safety. Sure enough he was found shot to death and although his family and his wife worked hard with investigators, no one was ever prosecuted. Joe had no children, however, Donna tells me that his wife has never even been on as much as a date since losing Joe and just says that she has no desire, he was the love of her life.

This made me sad. I went to kindergarten with Joe. I remember him well. Does anyone know when he passed away and what happened.Lynda Skluzak
