Elaine had the sweetest disposition. She always wanted to be sure you were okay, and meant it. She never seemed to have a bad day, truly an angel on earth to watch over me.

Elaine was my best friend all through High School. We had so many adventures that I still laugh about. I once remember her calling a cab in the 10th grade & coming to pick me up so she could have a steak dinner she was craving. It seemed a little funny to me that we were out on the town in such a grown up way, but she always was wise beyond her years, & much more mature than I ever was. Her smile was contagous & I see that (or her famous scowl :) ) in every picture I have of her. She never judged me on my mistakes, and there were many, but always showed she understood the person I was.
She is loved & missed.

Elaine was one of my best friends. We met in the band freshman year, she played the clarinet and I played the flute. I was shocked to hear she passed. I have a picture of her and I the day of a pep rally. I will post it to the site as soon as I get it scanned.

We miss you Elaine.
