Obituary
RECTOR, Dennis L., 62, passed away July 9, 2011. He is survived by his wife, father, brother, sister, children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held at Christ Presbyterian Church, 6565 E. Broadway on Saturday, August 20, 2011 at 3:00 p.m. Reception to follow. Stephen D. Smith
I was good friends with him in junior high. His house was close to the Rose Parade route, so we would stay out all night sometimes at the curb. We also went to cotillion, i.e. social dance, at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium (I hated it). He was a good guy. We had a great time together.
Steven Jahr
Dennis was an honorable, friendly, decent guy who was centered - well beyond his years - when we were in school. And he was a fine athlete. I am sorry to learn of his early passing.
