So very sorry to hear that Bill passed away. I remember him as being such a gentleman and so polite in high school. He had a gentle manner about him. RIP, Bill. You will be missed in May at the reunion

I am shocked and deeply saddened by this news.  I knew Bill from kindergarten onward, and he was one of my closest friends in junior high and high school.  He was very personable, funny, smart and ambitious.  We had a lot of good times together, and his parents and his sister Sandy very graciously accepted my frequent presence in their home.  Do we know the source of this news or any addtional information about his passing?

I am Candice Scott, widow of Bill Scott, and found out about this site from Vicki.  Bill passed away from cancer on 10/11/12 and is survived by myself and our daughter.  He spoke often of high school antics and I recognize your name Anne and also that of "Toad?" Fleming!

Candice,  I am sorry for your loss.  Bill was a fine fellow.  Reading your note brought back many memories of Bill at PHS.   All the best to you.   John Potter

Sorry to hear that Bill is gone.  I remember him well.  Very "together " guy--even in high school--which is saying something!

This is an update I received from Bill's wife Candice Scott

"Bill often told me stories about high school-he had some good friends there.  Bill and I met and were married in our late 20's- our daughter was born just after Bill turned 30.  About that time he started his own executive recruiting firm in Orange County and we lived in Orange, Brea and finally Anaheim Hills.  He loved playing poker and probably would have become a professional poker player if he didn't already have a family!  He even played in the World Series of Poker in Vegas one year!  We lived a relatively quiet life mostly enjoying each other's company and, because of his business, taking advantage of local activities and traveling in the states.  Our daughter opted not to follow in her father' footstep and attended Williams College instead of Yale.  She is currently living and working in Boston.  Bill passed away from colon cancer in October of 2012.  I still miss him. Candice Scott"
