Steve and I attended the same schools from 1st grade onwards. I'll always remember Steve for his creativity and his penchant for getting into (innocent) trouble. In Boy Scouts he was always pushing the limit and I'll never forget the (hilarious) skits he forced us to do in front of friends and family at a scout meeting. His parents in Pasadena welcomed us as friends and we often went to his house for some kind of fun. Steve was a very smart guy often scoring at the top of his class and I looked up to him for that since I struggled with my own grades. We started high school at La Salle up the road from PHS in a carpool but eventually we both transferred to PHS. After graduation we lost track of each other. But he died all too suddenly and tragically and way too soon. I miss him.
