I knew Gary very little in high school, although we shared some classes and he lived very nearby. He was a student leader I recall. We got to be friends at UCLA and we hung out on campus and double-dated. Gary was a lot of fun, and a great cook. We reconnected on Facebook many years later. I was saddened to note his passing via Facebook.
Gary was a great friend in high school and for several years after before we lost touch. He was soft spoken, but easy going and witty with a giant intellect. He attended our wedding in 1970 and in the '70s we were privileged to attend some of his "famous" duck dinners at his house in Pasadena. We would get together from time to time to "compare notes" on our jobs. He is missed.
