Terry and I were friends from grade school thru high school. Our families were all friends. Our fathers were "drinking buddies", "poker buddies", so on many Saturday nites, us two ( and other kids ) got to roam and terrorize the neighborhood while our fathers played poker - alllll nite long. We all lived within three blocks of each other, so our mothers kept an eye on us. Bob's Big Boy Drive-in was a big hit for Terry and I. We loved watching the nitely parade of car/motorcycle clubs - great looking machines and girls, too.
After high school, Terry joined the Air Force, stationed in England for a few years, then settled in Ohio. Our lives went in different directions, and saw him only occasionally. Last time I saw him was at his mother's funeral about 7-8 years ago. Liked his sense of humor - sad to hear of his passing. Life goes on!!! RIP Terry!
