Andre Morris. So sorry to hear that he passed on in October, 2002 in San Diego. I remember him well from playing football together and from around campus. Not only was he a great athlete but more so he was a great person. I remember his gentle demeanor and positive attitude to life. He had a great sense of humor and was one of those people who supported you when you needed it. I had a few classes with his sister, Susan, when I was a senior. We sat next to each other and we had a nice friendship as well. I’ll always remember the support you gave me and the clever jokes that allowed me a few laughs as we went through our teen years. Those of us that knew you are saddened by your passing. Rest peacefully brother.

Remember Andre Morris as well. Big guy, but really nice and never pushed himself on anyone, except maybe to make a tackle on the field. His mom was a policewoman, who sometimes had the duty of chaperoning us ner'do'wells at the Altadena Library. She was a pleasure to be around as well, even when she would be kind of stern with us to keep us quiet. Andre had the blessing of having a great mother who set a good example.
