Helen Kuth Nelson of Concord, California, passed away on July 1, 2026, at the age of 82.

She was born in Miles, Texas on August 12, 1943. Helen graduated from Wall High School and went on to earn an associate degree in Home Economics from Ambassador College.

Helen was married to Lyle Roger Nelson on August 13, 1967, and they shared many years together building a loving family. She dedicated much of her life as a homemaker.

Helen was a devoted member of First Church of the Nazarene in Pasadena, where she found great joy in her faith and community. She had a passion for gardening, sewing, photography, and art. She brought creativity and warmth into everything she did.

She is survived by her spouse Lyle Nelson, her children, David Nelson (Lee Ann) and Richard Nelson (Ann), as well as her five beloved grandchildren. She is also survived by her brothers, Loyd Hohertz and Weldon Hohertz.
