I still remember that we went to our first concert together... THE POINTER SISTERS at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium!! What a fun time, and we had so many other laughs together. So very sad to learn about your passing my dear friend.
I was a close friend of Vikki and I also went to my first concert (Tears for Fears) with her and her husband, and still my close friend, Gary Crothers. I still think of Vikki all the time, she loved to have people over to her home for parties and was a very fun host. She was interesting, interested, and full of life. She was Paiute Indian and going to POW WOWS with her were a lot of fun as she sold her handmade traditional Indian ribbon shirts which were highly valued. She died of brain cancer and made a joke of it until the end. She would tell me the surgeons were building the BAT CAVE in her skull as they removed more and more of the cancer. At her funeral she somehow had found a Marvin the Martian Urn ( her favorite Warner Bros cartoon character) to hold her ashes. She was all Vikki until the end.
