Golf anyone?

Greetings classmates,

As your golf outing coordinator I want to inform you of a few items.

As you sign in on this website please send me a note as to your interest in a golf outing.  I'm guessing that the way it works is, if we have enough interest in an "outing" (3 or more 4-somes) there is a point when the money will have to be paid to them, probably a month or a little more in advance.  I will need your money in hand before that date.  If we have less than 3 4-somes I can call in advance and secure a couple of t-times.  I dont' think a credit card or  money paid up-front is required to do this.

So, if you're interested in participating please contact me.  In the meantime I will contact the course as to more specifics.  I'll post more after this happens.

Craqp, this thing doesn't have spell check.

Thanks, Tiger

Seems Edgewood has the "Edgewood Challenge" going on the same day as our reunion date.  They have booked t-times from 8:30 until 12:15 for it.

We could book a few t-times before their event.  From the meeting we had last Saturday at Edgewood would need to let them know in the next couple of weeks to guarantee some t-times.  I can hold the t-times with a credit card.

If we tried to play after, more than likely we wouldn't get finished before our reunion because an event like that usually plays really s-l-o-w.

Something else to think about; we have planned a Friday night gathering at a bar in Springfield.  So an 8AM t-time might be a little early for some (me included).

So please let me know if you are interested in playing golf that Saturday.  Another possibility is that we could try another course to get a later t-time.

If anyone reads this and is interested in playing golf; go ahead and reply to this post.  Jim Love is the only person who has emailed thus far, to say he is interested and that John Dougherty is too.  Steve Sandstrom would join in as a caddie.  Neil Huffman said that he would play if we needed to fill out a 4-some.  So, if you don't want to miss all of that fun and excitement; shoot out a reply and let's tee it up.

Thanks,

Dubya
